Founder, Cory R. Neas, started working alongside his father from a very young age. He loved it so much that he often used to say, "I got workadoo" when asked to play as a child. After high school, they started a business together doing commercial, industrial, and historic masonry restoration. Some of the projects they worked on include; the New Jersey State Capitol Building, Petty's Run in Trenton, NJ, Nugent Manor in Philadelphia, PA, Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park, NY, Washington Crossing State Park in Titusville, NJ along with many other notable historic buildings. Cory eventually earned a certification from the NCCCO to expand their portfolio to begin Preferred Crane Services. 

After settling down in Ridgefield, CT and starting a family, Cory decided to use his experience and expertise to venture on his own and form Preferred Masonry and Excavation.
